What is a Forensic Audit?

A Forensic Audit is an in depth investigation into the homeowner's mortgage loan documents. The purpose of a forensic audit is to determine if the homeowner was victimized by unfair, deceptive and predatory lending practices. The audit looks for violations of all relevant consumer protection statutes. We also look for fraud, misrepresentation, unfair and deceptive acts, breach of contract, unconscionability and claims under other theories of law.
